Baseball Education, not just instruction.
Do you know a child who loves the game of baseball?
Are they the type of individual who would benefit from learning a deeper understanding of the game as well as important life lessons along the way?
Or do you know a child who is just now wanting to learn the sport, but you don't know what program is right for them?
On The GO Baseball was formed as a baseball class, not just instruction. The difference is in what a child will get out of it. Let's compare the two:
A baseball instructor generally focuses on the physical side of the sport. Mechanics of the swing, proper arm angles, etc. They do work on the basic strategies as well. But the goal for them is to show an increase in performance on the field.
Our baseball class focuses more on the growth of the student on the field and as a human being. We find that the physical development of a young athlete should not be rushed. It should also be done while promoting growth and maturity outside of the sport. The youth need a place to cultivate the love they already possess for the game, or be introduced to a game that teaches them baseball theory, teamwork, confidence and the understanding that, you can't win them all.
The game has been around for generations. It gets passed down like recipes in the family cookbook. Tales of WIllie Mays and Mickey Mantle. Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson. These are names that are etched in the history books. Our students will find out what these and other legends provided to the game, as well as our country.
We teach with the S.C.O.R.E. model which stresses having respect for:
Self
Coaches
Opponents
Rules
Equipment
Through our experiences, we have not only seen baseball through the eyes of a child, but lived it. Our focus is on the physical, mental and social development of the youth in our community. We feel they deserve teachers and mentors who sincerely care about where they will be in ten to twenty years.
Our goal is to develop a synergy within the program that will have previous students coming back. Not only to visit, but to assist in mentoring others!!
Our classes are offered at the well-known Fusion Elite Performance Center located in Rocklin, CA. We are limiting each class to five students to keep it fun and engaging.
Classes meet once a week for 90 minutes. All class times are listed on our classes link above.
We have a batting cage to teach how to track the ball and hit with the proper force. We also have a pitchers mound and several training aids to help with development. We even utilize an old baseball video game to help with teaching strategies (like when to bunt, which base to throw to, hitting behind the runner, etc.). And they will be "graded" on their performance.
We also use a device that uses bluetooth technology to track a student's swing. These swings can be analyzed, saved and used in developing the proper fundamentals.
We also utilize cameras to capture the swing and throwing motion to encourage proper technique. Muscle memory is the key to proper fundamentals!
The curriculum is fun and engaging, while sprinkling in some quality life lessons. The place to go for your child to get quality baseball instruction is On The GO Baseball! (slots still available)
As part of Fusion Elite, taking most charter school vouchers.
